Urban Thinking

“People can MEET God within their culture but in order to FOLLOW God, they must cross into other cultures. Discipleship is cross-cultural.”

The footprint of all things urban is much bigger than their geographical area. The influence of the city has a massive impact on our churches and young people and in some ways we are not acknowledging or acting on it. Globalisation, diversity and poverty are widely evidenced in the urban context and, as Christians working with young people, we need to understand the culture and work with it.
